In the spirit of Thanksgiving, it's time to give thanks for all we're grateful for. But, in college, we come to appreciate the value of very different...sometimes strange...things. So, here are fifteen things that every college student is blessing at the dinner table Thursday night:

1. Über.

2. String lights.

3. Bedside caddies.

4. FaceTime.

5. Care packages.

6. Classes that don't start at 8 a.m.

7. Caffeine.

8. Command strips.

9. Any writing assignment that's double-spaced.

10. Getting the communal bathroom all to yourself.

11. Tide pods.

12. Extension cords.

13. Air freshener.

14. Venmo.

15. AMAZON.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
