I was blessed with a really incredible roommate this past year. Since August, we've been known as two peas in a pod, or more specifically, blonde and "other blonde". Through stress, success, and a lot of late night dance parties, we've laughed our way through freshman year, and I couldn't have done it without her.

1. Forgiving me after I accidentally shrunk your dress in the wash.

Apparently washing on cold and airdrying doesn't always prevent shrinkage.

2. Buying my food when I didn't have time to go to the store.

Not to mention eating it after.

3. Listening to me stress rant.

It happens.

4. Making my bed or writing me notes when I was in desperate need of motivation.

Little blessings like that go the longest way.

5. Being my Monday night dinner date...actually my every night dinner date.

Especially for exploring almost every Mexican restaurant in College Station with me.

6. Coming to Harry's with me countless times even though you don't like country music.

And sometimes being my dance partner.

7. Being dedicated and steadfast in your faith and your beliefs.

Truly your light for the Lord is incredible and inspires me every day.

8. Letting me watch Kathy Lee and Hoda every morning.

Honestly, I'm part college student part middle-aged mother of three.

9. Accepting my goofiness.

For instance when I say silly stuff and can't stop laughing at myself.

10. Our roommate speakerphone calls to my mom.

Because sometimes my mom needs to be caught up with both our drama.

11. Having grace with me when I spill stuff or make a mess.

It happens too often to count.

12. Motivating me through my anxiety.

Especially supporting my stressed self through it.

13. Buying me a smoothie or two.

I think we both agree that you can never have too many Angel Food smoothies from Smoothie King.

14. Being just as obsessed (if not more obsessed) about Disney as I am.

It's a rare quality. I can't count the number of times we watched Disney movies or listened to Disney theme park music this past year.

15. Helping me beat the clock to turn in my chemistry homework on time.

I think we're both thankful I changed my major to liberal arts.

16. Letting me borrow your curling iron.

Along with hairspray and conditioner among other things.

17. Letting me put up a six-foot Christmas tree in our room.

Including for not calling me crazy when I called you asking if I should buy it.

18. Forgiving me when I wake you up at 6:30 a.m. every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday so I can get ready for my 8 a.m.

Especially when I forget to turn off my other alarms.

19. Reading all my Odyssey articles!

I can't even tell you how much I appreciate the support!

20. Letting me borrow your dresses, jewelry, etc.

You always have the perfect thing to go with every outfit.

21. Motivating and loving me through Freshman year the way only a best friend can.

And I know we will be best friends for a long time after.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
