Dear Teachers,
It's almost impossible to give a definition to the word 'teacher.' Mainly because there are so many things that go into defining a teacher... you influence greatness, provide support, improve our skills, and make an impact on lives of children and young adults almost everyday. It is without doubt that you all deserve a heartfelt thank you for your hard work and dedication to improve our skills.

I can never thank you enough. But here's a start. From grade school up until now, I have met an abundance of substantial teachers who share the common goal of helping students succeed. Everyone knows students experience bad days and good days but through everything you still stand by us and push us to become the best versions of ourselves.
Many students whine, some are cheerful, some come into class with the most negative attitudes, but no matter what mood we come in with, you never let that get to you. Every class period you get out of your seat, welcome us into the classroom, and begin teaching us lessons we will later need in our futures. But how often do we take the time to say "thank you?"
A few years out of high school and I have realized just how far a simple "thank you" can go. I wonder where I picked that knowledge up? Perhaps I was taught by a few wonderful teachers that have spent their days teaching, encouraging, and showing me what is important.
While I may not have mentioned it enough during my time in school, I want to remind you now that YOU are appreciated. I also want to express the fact that I wouldn't be where I am now if you didn't show such dedication and passion in teaching.
As you already know, school is a challenging time for many, but you still stand by me at my worst, and I appreciate every lesson, every moment, and everything you have ever done for me. You have always been more than helpful, you have went above and beyond, you have spent years on me and my classmates, and for all your hard work I am forever grateful. You have made going to school every morning a much easier task.
Lastly, thank you for your invaluable mentoring throughout the years. You have taught me how to express myself in positive ways, how to teach, how to listen, and most importantly the value of a simple "thank you." As a future teacher, I can only hope that I will become half the teachers you all are.
Beyond grateful,
A very thankful student.
