Throughout the years I have had so many amazing teachers that have taught me lessons I will never forget. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the incredible teachers I have had since I was as little as five years old.
A thank you to Mrs. Stebbins, my kindergarten teacher that taught me how to have fun while learning.
A thank you to Mrs. Werth, my first grade teacher, who taught me books were almost as good as friends.
A thank you to Mrs. Ogden, my third grade teacher who taught me writing can be beautiful.
A thank you to Mrs. Callahan, my fifth grade teacher, who showed me how special I was.
A thank you to Mr. Wilson, my sixth grade technology teacher, who showed me tech is for girls too.
A thank you to my seventh grade English teacher Ms. Marshall, to which I was the favorite.
A thank you to Mr. Deblois, my eighth grade math teacher, who was the first person to have me understand math.
A thank you to Mrs. Crosset, the tutor that also made me understand math and one of the kindest people I’ve ever met.
A thank you to Ms. Smith, my name twin and my eighth grade English teacher, who pushed me for the good.
A thank you to Mr. Sweeny, my eighth grade health teacher, where I learned what “bisexuality” was.
A thank you to Ms. Thiele, my freshman Earth Science teacher, who wouldn’t let me fail even if I wanted to.
A thank you to Ms. Sullivan, who reminded me so much of my late grandma Vera, who cheered me on when I felt no one was there.
A thank you to Ms. Michele who was also there for me when no one else was.
Most of all, I would like to thank my amazing sophomore teachers I had at the first year of my new school.
Ms. Yaddaw, my sociology and English teacher who taught me how to think.
Ms. Kelly (Mrs. Delgado), my social studies teacher who taught me how to be kind.
Ms. Baldwin, my other English teacher, who taught me how to write what I think.
Mr. Sampson, my science teacher, who taught me how to laugh.
And finally, Mr. Barbano, my algebra teacher sophomore year and he was one the realest people I have ever met.
As this school year begins and the leaves begin to turn and teachers begin to teach, I will always remember these teachers. These teachers that made me part or who I am today. My education is one of the most valuable things to me and through out all my life. I make a promise to everyone in this letter, that I will continue my education and be successful. As John F. Kennedy once said "The goal of education is the advancement of knowledge and the dissemination of truth."
