We all have that one friend who we consider the “mom” of the group. They help us in so many ways, each one unique and special to their own friend group. So here is a list of “thank yous” to my “mom” of the group, and I am sure most friend groups can relate.
1. Thank you for taking care of me when I am sick
From buying me medicine to checking in on me every few hours, I know I can count on you when I am not feeling very well.
2. Thank you for making sure I go to all of my classes
When I have no motivation to go to classes or to even wake up in the morning, you are always there to help motivate me and push me to do my best.
3. Thank you for always reminding me about homework I forgot about
Whether I really did forget or I “forgot” to do my homework, you are always there to remind me that I need to do it because C’s do not always get degrees now-a-days.
4. Thank you for being the one I can go to with all of my problems
Whether it be boys, school, or random drama I know I can always turn to you for the much needed advice. Plus, your advice is always thoroughly thought out and obviously the best advice I could get.
5. Thank you for feeding me
Whenever I am hunger and don’t want to go out to get food, or I do not have money to buy food you always split yours with me or make sure to buy enough to go around.
6. Thank you for being you
For all the times you had to babysit me, feed me, take care of me, or scold me, you did it out of love and I know you will do it all again for me.
I want you to know that what you do for me and our friend group does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. You will always be the go to person for me and the rest of our group. I know it can be tough being the "mom" of so many irresponsible teenagers but you take care of us so well. I could not imagine doing life without you. Keep up the good work.
