Dad,
Thank you for always being supportive in my career choice. When I was little, I told you I wanted to be on stage, and from the start, you always backed me up. You told me I could do whatever I set my mind to.
In high school, you were at every dance competition or performance, putting my props on stage and then watching from the wings. You were always there waiting, with open arms, for me to either hug or collapse into (depends on the dance). I knew you'd be honest with me but you never said anything bad. You were always my biggest fan.
Now that I'm in college, it's different. You don't have competition bills to pay, you don't have any props to put on stage, you don't have any wings to hide behind, and you're okay with it. You're still at ever performance and every show. You still bring me flowers and take me out to dinner for doing the dance thing. And you still tell me I can be whatever I want to be.
Thank you, dad, for always letting me be me.
I love you!!!
