A Thank You to my Friends in College

Since I'm bad at speaking my thoughts, I tend to write them out instead. So this is a thank you to the amazing friends I've made in college. You've become my support group, my encouragement, and my some of my biggest supporters. So thank you. Thank you for listening to me rant about my major and my stress and giving me guidance and support when others didn't. You guys are the reason I'm still at this school, and why I didn't transfer last year or even this year when I wanted to. Thank you for always being honest with me and for being real. Without you guys I wouldn't have people always down to go to Chick-Fil-A and Andy's. Thank you for always wanting to gossip, and for favoriting my tweets to help boost my ego. Thank you for not judging me for my likes and my wants since I'm very "basic". Thank you for screaming the lyrics to every throwback song I play in my car and saying I have a good music taste. Thank you for watching my dog when I'm working in the lab. Thank you for always being there for me when I'm going through rough patches in life, and constantly sticking by my side (and for stealing that mini pumpkin from the cafeteria to cheer me up). Thanks for supporting me even if you don't agree with what I'm doing and for not judging me. Thanks for all the amazing snapchat videos I have saved to my phone of you all acting crazy. Thanks for all the inside jokes, and for being "not like other girls". It's only been a year and half but we've already became so close and can share anything about each other without it being weird. I'm grateful for all the silences among us and for them not being uncomfortable because we're just that close. Thank you for actually caring about my well being and for not making empty promises. Thanks for all the Wal-Mart trips then result in "family dinners" in the basement of our dorm. But most importantly thank you for being unapoligetically yourselves around me, always.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.
