My family and friends are all very dear to me. They are all special to me and they all have a special place in my heart. The first of December will always be a special day to me.

This is just a letter from me wanting to thank everyone for making my birthday a very special day. I’m just so thankful for having friends and family that stay by my side no matter what. I honestly would not know what to do without each and every one of you.

I want to give thanks to my boyfriend and his family for making me a wonderful dinner that I won’t ever forget. Thank you for being the kind and wonderful people that you are. I’m so happy to have met a man that cares for me and loves me as much as you do. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us.

This thank you goes out to all my friends! Thanks for spending some time with me even though you all are very busy. I loved seeing all of your faces and being able to spend time with you all. I especially loved the cake you all brought for me and playing heads up, even though I am terrible at that game!

Now this special thank you goes out to my parents. Mama i tata ja vas volim puno!! Hvala za sve! Thanks for putting up with this stubborn hothead for as long as you do. I’m so grateful to have parents such as you who work so hard and give so much even when you don’t have much to give. I will always love you!

Finally, I want to thank everyone for shooting me messages whether it be on Facebook or whatever social media platform it’s on. Thank you to those that have sent me text messages and voicemails.

I’m forever grateful for having people who are so loving and caring in my life. It doesn’t matter if you are near or far, you guys will always be in my heart forever.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
