Thank you to my brother.
A big reason the way I am today is because of my brother. From the time we were little until now he's made me into a stronger person.
You have showed me the ropes during high school, sports, and driving. You've showed me what a good movie actually is (The Breakfast Club, The Outsiders, Fast Times At Ridgemont High, etc.). And you have showed me how to order half of Taco Bell's menu without spending over 3 dollars.
So I just want to say thank you for all the times I should've and haven't.
Thank you for the countless times you've played basketball with me in the driveway.
Although there has been some knock down drag outs, we all know I wouldn't be the athlete I am today if it wasn't for that.
Thank you for always having my back and the pick me ups.
Whether it may be any type of advice, I know I can always count on you to give me the most honest answer. And I could have the worst game of my life and you still make me feel like I played my best game.
Thank you for letting me be me.
Being the biggest tomboy ever and wearing your clothes and trying to be "one of the guys", not one time have you ever judged or said anything about it. You've always let me be my own person.
Thank you for having a tender heart.
You are a big and strong dude, but deep down inside you are a big teddy bear. It's showed me that it's ok to show your feelings every once and a while.
Thank you for always making me laugh.
I can be upset or stressed about a lot of things, but you always find a way to take my mind off of it.
Thank you for having great music taste.
Because we all know I don't. So when someone asks me if I've ever heard of AC/DC or Guns N Roses, I just smile and say of course I have.
Thank you for being you.
You are one of the most genuine and hilarious people I know. Your patience with people make me want that for myself. Your sense of humor is like nobody else's. And your honesty just shows the good person you are.
You are the one who turned me into a tomboy, helped me learn to tie my shoes, and taught me not to be afraid of the ball (because if I was then I either had to go get it or it would hurt pretty bad when it hit me).
Now there are many more thank you's to come, I am sure of it, but these will do for now.
A brother is a true blessing to a sister. They teach you that it is ok to be yourself and to never back down from a challenge. He is one of your biggest supporters, do not ever forget that.
Probably won't see this unless mom shows you because you don't have Facebook or anything like that. But just thought I would let you know how much you mean to me.
