Thank You To The Person You Can Never Thank Enough
Open Door Houston

How do you even begin to thank someone who has given you the world? It’s hard to put it into words. It’s much more complex than sending a text that says “hey thx!” It goes far deeper than that. The person that changes your world and makes you strive to be like them. Your support system, your rock, ultimately, one of your “people.”

The world handed you many people to mix up your life, and you’ve learned to take them as they come. But no matter what you want to think, there is always that one person who changes the way you view and want to live your life. A family member, a significant other, a friend, everyone has someone. That person has impacted your life more than anyone else ever will, and it’s important to keep hold. How do you even begin to thank them? How do you thank them for something that they might not even know that they are doing?

I want to thank you for being my biggest supporter. When I’m stuck or in a hard place, you are always there to bring me back up and tell me that I can do it. Thank you for always pushing me to my fullest potential and believing I am better than what I think sometimes, and for showing me that hard work is one of the best rewards. Thank you for being there when others aren’t or can’t be. You’ve saved me from a lifetime of disappointments and instead given me a lifetime of opportunities with your generosity. I know it’s not your job or your obligation to do these things, but you’ll never know how much they mean to me. It’s the little and the big things you do for me that will forever impact my life.

You’ll forever be what I strive to be, in the sense that you are so generous and loving in the way you interact with those around you. Never would I have thought that I would owe someone,so much for all the things they have done for me, but I will never be able to repay you. Thank you for all the things that have changed my life and affected my future. I will never be able to thank you enough.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
