Thank You SNHU Odyssey
William White

This week is my final post for SNHU Odyssey, and I wanted to take this time to say Thank you to everyone.

From the moment I started here at Odyssey, I was able to learn so much from everyone. I really enjoyed being able to write for a community which supports the content creators to be able to write on the things that they are most passionate.

I am grateful for the wonderful team I got to work with both past and present. I was able to gain more insight and tips on what each of the pieces I delivered each week. It was nice to also meet up with everyone to share important information at our weekly meetings which were helpful so the team could all work as one.

I was deeply honored when I was also asked to not only work as a content creator but also a social media director. I never imagined when I first started back in July 2016 all that I was able to obtain through Odyssey.

We all work as one. Without every person in this community and the uniqueness SNHU Odyssey has, we would never be where it is today. I want to thank everyone both past and present. I know many are not here, but I wanted to take the time to acknowledge everyone.

This was not an easy decision to make, and I did not take it lightly. But as most of you know I am a very busy mom to three wonderful children, and I also work as an ESL Tutor, and I am also an Indie Author who has released three solo books, and I am currently working on a 4th book which should be out next year. I am truly blessed to be doing all that I ever dreamed of doing. Thank you to all those who came to my recent release it meant so much to have you there and take the time to wish me well.

Again, I am truly grateful to you all for everything and for being able to be a part of this awesome group. I will continue to cheer you on and only wish you all the best! I will not say Goodbye because the SNHU Odyssey will always be a part of me.

And to quote a song I loved from the show Glee, “This Time no one is going to say Goodbye, I keep you in this heart of mine, this time I know it’s never over.”

I have posted it below because I love this song and I appreciate and love all of you. Thank you SNHU Odyssey. Until next time.

On the Upper East Side, Blair Waldorf is an icon. She's what every girl aspires to be. She's beautiful, confident, and can handle any obstacle that life throws at her. Sure, she may just be a television character. But for me, she's a role model and theres a lot that can be learned from Queen B.

The Perks of Being a Girl

“I just want you to know that you’re very special… and the only reason I’m telling you is that I don’t know if anyone else ever has.”

As frustrating and annoying as it can be, being a girl is really awesome. We are beautiful inside and out. Not a lot of people may see that, but girls have a ton of amazing qualities.

We have unique flirting skills.

Us girls have a significant way to flirt with other people. Even when we say the most random or awkward things, we have a way of making everything sound cute and planned. It’s just a gift; we’re good like that.

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
