This article isn't even the start of how thankful I am to call you my mom. You are the strongest, kindest, most caring, charismatic, intelligent, and trustworthy individual in my life. I know that no matter what, I can go to you for help and support, and not just because you're my mom. So let me just start by saying a few things I'm thankful for about you.
Thank you for giving birth to me! I know that's cliche and basic, but honestly thank YOU for giving birth to ME! I wouldn't have wanted to be a part of any other family or have anyone else as my mom. I know you really didn't have a choice, but thank you for not leaving me on someone else's front step. Really, I'm grateful!
Thank you for being a fabulous role model. You inspire me to do a lot of things! Whether it's becoming a teacher, or being honest, or just doing what I think is right, I look to you for guidance and support. So thank you for not judging everything I do or say because seriously, I'm just doing what I think you would want me to be doing.
Thank you for being strong. Life has dealt you a pretty crappy hand of cards and thank you for never calling it quits or losing hope. Your strength amazes me and reminds me that no matter what life gives you, there is always happiness somewhere. If you wouldn't have stayed strong and kept continuing on with life, I would not have been able to have move on from all the horrible things we have gone through as a family lately. So thank you for keeping all of us sane.
Thank you for supporting me with every activity I have done! I know it's hard raising a teenage daughter, (and you have to do it 4 times!) but thank you for supporting everything I've done. Whether it's coming to my choir concerts, Poms competitions, Musicals, NHS ceremonies, or supporting me in my first year of college, it must have been exhausting keeping this all on schedule, but you did a fabulous job!
Thank you for always making sure I had everything I needed. I know money has been tight, but you always make sure I have just enough to get by. Honestly, I will one day pay you back for all of this because you deserve it. Raising a teenage daughter is not cheap, but thank you for the sacrifices you made to make sure we were all happy!
Life has not been easy, but with having you as my mom, it certainly has become worth living. You are amazing mom and I wish I could take away all your troubles and grant you the ability to relax for the rest of your life because really, you deserve that and more! I love you more then anyone else and I always will. You are my rock, my best friend, my secret keeper, my number one fan, and overall my amazing mother. I know life is rough, but don't ever forget that I will always be proud to call you my mom.
I love you!
