Going abroad was one of the best experiences of my life, but it wouldn't have been nearly as amazing without the people I was able to go on the trip with. This is my thank-you letter to all you awesome people.

To the best travel friends ever,

Thank you for making me laugh. I think by the first full day of our trip, our group already had numerous inside jokes, that had us laughing for the entirety of our trip. We were blessed with being a close-knit group, and we were equally lucky to have amazing teachers with us, too. Making fun of all the other loud, American tourists was a daily occurrence, and it was even better when we were making fun of ourselves. We had so many laugh-out-loud moments… and embarrassing pictures to prove it.

Thank you for the unexpected adventures. Okay, so we were going abroad- adventures kind of come with the territory. However, there were so many little adventures that we had, just the six of us, that I never planned on or saw coming. Getting lost walking around in the areas near our hotels, exploring cathedrals (and gaping in awe at them) that weren’t apart of our tours, having tea parties with all six of us crammed into one room- I could go on and on, because there are so many amazing memories we had outside of our scheduled tours. I could never have imagined how much fun we would have.

Thank you for being the best traveling partners ever. I can’t imagine having gone on our trip with anyone else. To the five other students, and two incredible teachers who I got to spend it with, you are all that made the trip truly amazing. I never thought I could laugh so hard over a name, or have an entire scrapbook page dedicated to the stupid things we did- but because of you guys, I do, and I am so thankful for it.

It was so incredibly hard to part ways with you all when our trip came to an end, especially with all of us going in very different directions. I can’t wait to see what you all accomplish over the years, and what other crazy adventures we end up on! I hope a few more can be spent with each other.

10 Truths About Being In A Sorority

(For Girls Who Are Interested In Greek Life)

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
