After reading your letter, I knew I had to express how much it touched me. Your words gave me strength and I've never been more proud to be your fan. I've supported you since 2013 and every day, you spark more passion in my heart.

As a well-known celebrity, you're probably told to watch what you say. Everything that comes out of your mouth will be scrutinized and most likely twisted in some way. This has never stopped you for sharing your passionate beliefs with us, your fans. By creating a conversation about important topics such as feminism and politics, you have become more than just a musician to us.

Your open letter to Donald Trump and his supporters has made me realize that a formal "Thank You" is long overdue. The letter was articulate, inspiring, and full of passion. We are so proud of you for embracing your heritage, sexuality, and womanhood. It's made me, and thousands of others, proud to be who they are too.
