Last year, around early December, I started getting really sick. After I would eat a meal, it would be about 30 minutes before I got sick to my stomach. After losing about 30 pounds in three months, the doctor finally gave me a diagnosis and with that, we found that gluten and dairy are two of the things that triggered me to fall ill. So for the most part, I had to cut that out of my diet which is definitely not easy, especially when you are eating out.
With all that being said, I want to thank the restaurants that accommodate for allergies and food intolerances willingly.
I want to thank you for being so patient and listening to our concerns and not making us feel like we are being a massive inconvenience. Thank you for not rolling your eyes and complaining to a coworker. Thank you for not getting frustrated when we have to send something back. Thank you for not asking questions when we are already embarrassed about having a complicated order. By the way, those allergy menus are sent from heaven.
All in all, thank you for considering us when making your menu and being willing to serve us with a smile.
