Thank You For Putting Up With Me

The last week has been a whirlwind of crazy. Between classes, Greek life, and my personal life, I have barely had a moment to breathe. And honestly, I have barely had time to do anything. So I decided that today would be a good time to write some shout outs to the people that I cannot thank enough for everything they do for me.

1. Thank you to my Fiance for keeping my home life together

I cannot even express how thankful I am for you. I am so thankful that you clean up after me and make sure that I am on a somewhat sane level when I come home. I know I argue with you about it but I even appreciate you for forcing me to sit down with a glass of wine and relax for a minute. I really needed that this week. So thanks. P.s. you're pretty all right.

2. Thank you to my best friend for coming to see me this weekend

Wow it has been too long since we have seen each other. This whole long distance friend thing actually sucks so much. So thank you for taking the time to drive 4 hours to come spend the weekend with me. You always know what to say to make my crazy ass chill, and for that, I appreciate you a whole lot.

3. Thank you to my sorority sister and best friend in Vegas for keeping me in your loop.

Hi, you make me happy. I know that I am so busy, but I love you so much and am so grateful that you don't hate me for it. Our FaceTime dates actually give me life and when you say things to me like "I channeled my inner Abby" I get so, so excited. So thank you for not only keeping me in your crazy life as well, but for keeping me a priority in your life.

4. Thank you to my sister for the pics of my nephew.

He makes my life so much better. The consistent photos and videos of my nephew make me so excited to come home and see you, but also give me motivation to do well in school. His laugh actually cheers me up no matter what, so thank you for bringing that lovely little nugget into my life.

5. Yo Big, I love you, thanks for making me less stressed.

Hi, your life is crazy, like wow. So I can't even tell you how grateful I am that you still make time to text me and calm me down when I am freaking out. Especially because I feel like I freak out about really minor things. Also, you might only be a P1 but you are already saving my life.

6. Mom, You are the real MVP

Thank you for listening to everything I stress out about and then reminding me that I will get through it and be okay. Also, thank you for making sure I always have everything I need. I am confident I would be dead without your support, and for that I am forever grateful. I'm not sure that words can really suffice for how thankful I am for you, but for now I'll just leave it at I love you to the moon and back.

To the people I didn't mention, I appreciate all of you also. This week was rough, last week was crazy, I don't know what next week will be like, but thank you to everyone who loves my craziness anyway.

To those who celebrate, you just spent an entire day cooking an elaborate meal with all of your favorite foods. You probably ate your body weight in pumpkin pie and mashed potatoes. What happens now? 18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
