Dear Mom,
I don't think I could ever thank you enough for what you've done for me throughout my life. From the gifts you've given me to the lessons you've taught me, you've sculpted me into the person I am today. I'm forever grateful for you.
Thank you for being my first best friend. You were the first person to laugh with me, cry with me and everything in between. You're still the best listener, advice-giver and of course my favorite shopping partner.
Thank you for being the most beautiful woman in my life. For as long as I can remember, you've shown me that beauty resonates from the inside out. Not only are you the most beautiful woman I know, but you also have a heart of gold.
Thank you for never taking shit from anyone. You've shown me how to win arguments and how to "kill them with kindness," but more importantly you've taught me to always know my worth. Thanks for showing me how to stand up for myself and for teaching me to never settle on being treated in a way I didn't deserve. Instilling that in me was one of the greatest gifts you've given me.
Thank you for always pushing me to reach my full potential. Somehow you often seem to know me better than I know myself. You've encouraged (and sometimes forced) me to aim for things I thought far beyond my reach, and without you I wouldn't have many of the successes that I do.
Thank you for always supporting my decisions and opinions, even when they differ from your own. You've encouraged me to become my own individual and have continued to love me through decisions you haven't always agreed with.
Thank you for giving me the most incredible family. My siblings are my favorite people on the planet. They're the greatest individuals I know, they make my world a brighter place. Thank you for giving us each other.
Thank you for picking the man who would become the most incredible father. I could not have handpicked better parents, and I know I'm truly lucky every day.
Thank you for being the president of my fan club. Between driving hours to see me perform for five minutes to coaching my sports teams while wearing high heels, you've been my biggest fan through everything i've done.
Finally, thank you for teaching me how to be a strong and successful woman in this world. To be raised by a woman as incredible as you has been the greatest gift of all.
