Dear Boyfriend, Thank You...

You don't always hear it, but you need to.

Dear Boyfriend,

Do you know how lucky I am to have you around? Probably not... but trust me, I am. You make me smile, you (still) make me nervous and most importantly you make me very, very happy. My every day quirks are not always sunshine and roses and the first fact that you've put up with them this long says a lot. You have different ways of doing it and different styles of aggravation but each of these make you, you and I personally enjoy each little detail that you bring, so thank you.

Thank you for always being my plus one. No matter where my crazy life takes me I always know that you will be there with me. Baseball games, beaches, school concerts, family dinners and all stops in-between have been tackled together -- to the point that many just expect us to show up together.

Thank you for handling my "I don't care" line every time you ask me where I want to eat. (And then not getting mad when I say "not here" when you pull in somewhere.)

Thank you for making me smile. Bad days are never a thing when you are around. From talking in weird voices, singing to me in the car, taking a nap or even buying me ice cream "just because" you make me smile in every way, which is one of my favorite things. But most importantly you make me smile the most when you don't even notice it. The way you mess with your hair, don't eat certain things, kiss my forehead, roll your eyes and support me in every way make me smile in ways that I cannot explain.

Thank you for letting my favorites become yours. You are not a fan of Grey's Anatomy and I know that... but you'd act like it for me. From the little things like Netflix shows and sport teams to bigger things like colleges and career paths, you have allowed my favorite things to become yours and believe me when I say your favorites have worn off on me too.

Thank you for listening to my occasional rant. (Even when they are slightly about you.)

Thank you for knowing why I am upset before I say anything. It's almost like you're a mind reader and I love it.

Thank you for dealing with my hair. In your mouth, in the seat of your car, under your arm, down my back... wet, dry and even dirty. I know it is annoying, but you handle it very well. Thank you for accepting my shedding.

Thank you for telling me when I am in the wrong. Although you don't always do it when it is needed or in the best way possible, I really do appreciate it, although I don't explain that at the time of my freak out.

Thank you for letting me pick the music and put my feet on your dash. What would a car ride be without feet marks on your interior?

Thank you for checking on me. You know how big of a baby I can be, so you checking on me has became a must have. From getting cold during different outdoor events to calling me when my trip home has seemed a little too long. You make sure that I am perfectly fine and that I will forever be thankful for.

Thank you for being the best secret keeper.

Thank you for apologizing when I am too stubborn to do so first.

Thank you for showing me how to believe in myself and for always supporting me. No matter what the situation is I know that you will always be my cheerleader. From pep talks before to pep talks or celebrations after, you are there every step of the way.

Thank you for playing with my hair.

Thank you for taking thousands of pictures with me. 60 percent of our time at any event is spent between two things: trying to find the perfect spot to take a picture and actually getting the job accomplished. Thank you for standing there and faking your smile after the 30th flash because my hair just hasn't been right and for understanding why the picture is needed and letting me post it every time.

Thank you for not complaining (too much) when it takes me a bit to get ready. Your patience is key.

Thank you for listening to my stories through the "likes" and "literallys". They may or may not be my favorite words. Plus they make the story 10 times better.

Thank you for earning my trust and never misusing it. The world is a slightly scary place so breaking down my wall is an accomplishment in itself. I applaud you for doing so and for never letting me regret giving you that power.

Thank you for not acting overly disgusted when my legs definitely need shaved.

Thank you for "acting" overly excited and proud when I finally do.

Thank you for always driving. I am not sure if it is because you don't feel safe with me behind the wheel or if it is just your way of being nice, either way, I'll take it.

Thank you for not only being my boyfriend, but my best friend.

Thank you for being you. You are a special, special guy. You put up with my mood swings, crying fits, bad decisions and girl drama better than I do sometimes. You have taught me new things, taken me to places that I now visit often, and allowed me to love in ways I thought only existed in fairytales.

Thank you so much for being my every day prince charming.

With lots of love,

Your girl.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
