Before I thought about writing these special letters, I could not help but reflect on what an amazing year I've had. All the crazy sleepless nights, the thought that in about two years I'll be REALLY going out into the big bad world... just... WOW. I'm completely speechless and am grateful at the same time for the time I've had to share wonderful memories with very special people. Below are a list of my versions of "thank you" for those people specifically who have a sweet spot in my heart. I'll forever cherish the amazing friendship we have.

Two things before you continue: 1. You will know who you are after reading and 2. The list is not in any specific order!

To: My Ethiopian Sister From Dallas

Thank you for being such a loyal sister since dear old middle school. Who knew that after that one conversation in Mrs.Scheer's class everything would change for us forever? I know girl. I love you so much and I'm so thankful for the woman you've become. Your wisdom, your jokes, your openness, and understanding has made such a huge difference in my life! You are one of the sweetest things to ever happen to me and I'm so blessed to have you in my life.

To: My Best GuyFriend From Philly

I want to thank you for your humor and all the quality time we spend talking about anything and everything that comes to mind. I will never forget the times I've leaned on your shoulder for support through my ups and downs, which you've always handled well. I'm also truly thankful for how open you can be...Granted, sometimes, you tell me to open my window and jump outside (all jokes), but I cherish all of that. You're definitely my go-to guy for anything and THAT is a blessing I'm truly thankful for! I love you so much.

To: My First Ever Czech Republic BFF/Sister

You bring me so much happiness. I know, I know, the first time we met was soooo...eh (we both know!), BUT look at all the events that have happened since then! I've learned so much from you and I'm truly thankful for that. Because of you, I have some "sass" in my system which I can't help! Our constant inner jokes and ability to "read" each other has made my time spent with you even sweeter. There isn't a day that passes that I don't think, "What is my dear _____ up to?" If I don't, I already know that you know that I know what is going on. After realizing that, one of us reaches out...(it ALWAYS happens!).

To: My Rwandan Sister Who Taught Me What "Musaza" Means

I didn't realize how close we'd be after I first asked if there were any Africans on campus. When you replied, I was so overjoyed! Let's fast forward to sophomore year, I've become more than thankful for what God has given me. One of the biggest blessings to me has been receiving a sister in Christ. You have become just that for me. Thank you for your wise words and thank you for your support through storms I've encountered. Everyday, you inspire me to become a better and stronger woman in Christ, which I'm forever grateful for.

To: My Aggie BFF That's Always Been There

If there was a word greater than "special" that I could give you it's that. The way you've stood by my side all these years almost brings me to tears. You have been such a sister, a best friend, and a gift that I swear makes me so blessed when I keep thinking about it! Thank you for all the times we spent talking about "pointless topics" (you know what I'm talking about) and the best of times as well. You have been such a kind and thoughtful soul. Thank you dear!

To: My Amazing Milwaukee Sister

I don't think there's anyone who has called me beautiful more than you have. This might seem so small and casual, but trust me it's not. I value who you are and the sister you've become to me. All through middle school and high school I used to wonder if we'd be friends long after high school, but look what has happened. A special blessing was brought in my life and we've been so inseparable since then. Your jokes and presence made all the difference during points I didn't know how to interpret anything for awhile because I was so broken, but you were there to remind me how amazing I was. Well, now I'm writing to tell you what a truly amazing woman you are to me as well! You have such a warm heart love.

To: My One And Only Best Guyfriend From Dallas

I didn't know that the Sky Ranch LLUMC trip would change everything for us. I will never stop telling you this, but you were so so HILARIOUS when we first met. That was definitely first impression for me. After that, it was every Sunday when I started learning more and more about you until BAM! Just like that, we became so close. Thank you so much for being there when I needed you and always keeping it real. I love how you always keep your word and have always been honest with me. I admire who you've become and the brother you'll always be in my heart.

To: My Sister From China

Thank you so much for spoiling me at The Cheesecake Factory. You know how much I love that place!...especially the bread, but more than that, YOU. Everyday I thank God we met each other at that Christmas Worship Night. You were so so sweet. Fast forwarding to now I can't help but look back grateful. Grateful for all the countless times we spent talking about life and future college trips. But, more than that I'm so thankful for what a heart you've been to me. It's such a humongous blessing.

To: My "hubby", Current Fiancé, and Darling

Thank you for being such an amazing friend to me. I will never ever forget everything you did to make my birthday memorable few months ago (I know I've already told you, but I'm telling you for more emphasis on how awesome you are). Ever since last year, I've always seen you as an extremely loyal and trustworthy person who always keeps it 100. I love you so much. You are my confidant, motivator, and obviously the best soon-to-be hubby. I send all my love to you darling!

And to the rest of the special people in my circle, know that I truly value you as well. Happy Holidays and cheers to an almost Happy New Years!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
