Alpha Phi: I hear those two words and I am immediately filled with gratitude.
So here's a big thank you. Little did I know the spunky little blonde who reminded me of The House Bunny giving me a flyer in the dreaded Free Speech Alley would be the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. Thank you Ashley, for all the crazed talks and giving me to confidence to go through recruitment. (To PC' 14 that wasn't lucky enough to meet Ashley, she's just a person you cannot help but love.)
Thank you, Alpha Phi, for accepting me and welcoming me for who I am. From bid day to our first red dress gala, I am honored to be a part of such a beautiful organization that is so rich in it's tradition and values. Being a part of this strong sisterhood is something that makes me so profoundly happy.
I have never pictured myself with a more diverse group of girls. However, each and every single one I share a certain bond with and am lucky to have them in my life. Thank you for giving me a friendship, sisterhood, a family that brightens up my life.
Thank you for my two littles and the endless of breakdowns in the paint isle at Michael's. My two reveals were by far the best moments of my life. Come next year I cannot wait to see my family flourish and grow, and of course help my littles through the endless all nighters of crafting.
From having friends crazy enough to bring sleeping bags to the library with you to friends that would help paint a cooler for you while having the flu- it is clear that I have been given the most kindhearted and insane friendships. I give all my thanks to you Alpha Phi.
Thank you for the empty bank account due to filling up my drawers with t shirts, all oversized of course. (Let's just say my freshmen year I ended up having to buy more storage because I was running out of space for them.) However, each and every shirt I wear proudly because I get to represent Alpha Phi in such a positive matter.
Alpha Phi is the reason for my constant smile. Thank you for providing me with true sincere friendship and an unexplainable happiness. I guess it's true what they say you end up where you belong, and I am proud to say I belong in Alpha Phi.
We may have been homeless these last two years, but home is where the heart is. And my heart is in Alpha Phi. But, hey, it sure is going to be nice moving into that house in August, #amiright? (she's right)
