Dear Mother and Father,
First off, I just wanted to say that I love you both and will endlessly. And as get older I know it's harder and harder for you guys to accept the fact that I won't be your little girl anymore but that still doesn't change the love I have for the both of you. Secondly, there are a few things I'd like to thank you for that I don't always express and here they are:
Thank you for accepting me
Thank you for accepting me for everything that I am. Knowing that regardless who I am, you will always accept me.
Thank you for letting me choose any direction that I choose.
Everything from letting me choose to go to any college I wanted to all the way to letting me change my hair color. Through the small decisions all the way to the life changing decisions.
Thank you for opening my eyes to new experiences and ideas.
You two know me more than anyone else, and the experiences and ideas that you have brought to me have shaped me in one way or another.
Thank you for supporting me in everything that I do.
Thank you for supporting me in everything that I've done; everything from school interests to sports and beyond.
Thank you do for showing me what love is.
Without you two having the love for one another as well as others, I wouldn't be able to know how to do the same.
But most importantly,
Thank you for loving me unconditionally.
This needs no explanation other than the initial statement of thanking you for loving me unconditionally.
Hopefully, as I get older and older you'll still look at me like I'm your little girl, but that still won't change my love for the both of you. I don't know how else to express this enough, and I can't be more happy to be your little girl. Love y'all both.
Love,
Your daughter
