Dear BFFs,

First off, thanks for always being there - even when you're not. We may not see each other as much as we used to, but I know I can always count on endless amounts of group texts, phone calls, and FaceTimes whenever necessary.

Thanks for the constant life updates on school, boys, and college friends. Our separate lives away from each other may seem foreign at times but I know we all feel as if we're sharing the same experiences together, even if we are not all physically there.

Thanks for all the adventures we have had together and all the adventures we will undoubtedly embark on in the future. No matter how much time we spend away from each other, nothing ever changes once we're reunited again.

Thanks for the infinite inside jokes that no one else understands, and the infinite laughs that accompany them. I'm thoroughly amazed that we all happened to stumble upon each other, because I'm convinced no one else in the world shares our strange sense of humor.

Thanks for sharing the love for the same movies and TV shows, and for always making references to our favorite ones. Let's face it, we are basically the cast of Sex and the City.

Thanks for the High School Musical marathons during every major school break. They will never, ever get old.

Thanks for the lazy nights spent sitting in the basement, playing card games, and eating Mango Peach Salsa.

Thanks for sticking around as we grew out of our awkward stages together - even though sometimes I'm convinced our lives may all just be one prolonged awkward stage.

Speaking of which, thanks for sending random reminders in our group message of awkward moments we've endured together. Those always account for a good laugh.

Thanks for the five-hour-long phone calls because we've been away from each other for too long.

Thanks for being there through the bad times and the good times alike. You are constant encouragers, shoulders to cry on, and the biggest supporters.

Thanks for being real. I know I can always count on you to let me know when I'm overreacting, when I'm being irrational, or when I'm about to make a not-so-wise decision.

Thanks for every midnight snack, midnight drive, and midnight conversation. Those are memories that can never be topped.

Thanks for being my people. I don't know what I would do without your crazy, thoughtful, fun, hilarious, wonderful selves.

Thanks for a friendship that I know will last forever, even as we go our separate ways. In the words of Carrie Bradshaw, "dreams change, trends come and go, but friendships never go out of style."

Thanks for always giving me a reason to be excited about coming home.

Basically, thanks for doing life with me even from miles away. Even a thousand miles can't keep us apart. Now get your butts home so we can hangout.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
