Thank You Mom, For Everything
Sarah Williams

For the most loving and caring person that I know;

Thank you for everything that you do for me. You are my mom and my best friend. You have instilled so many amazing things into me ever since I was a little girl. You have instilled love and compassion into me.You are the reason why I am the person I am today. You always told me to love everyone, especially my family and friends. I have been taught some of the greatest life lessons from you, you have been by my side since day one and I appreciate everything that you do for me.

Thank you for supporting me and encouraging through my many high school activities. Whether it was marching band or the spring musicals, you have always been there no matter what the occasion. Thank you for supporting me at all my marching band competitions and though those countless long days that lasted until two o’clock in the morning. I had many ups and downs through marching band and you were always there. You were always there to make sure I got the best teachers that there was. You have defended me through about everything. In my eyes, you are my No. 1 fan.

Thank you for supporting me through this college journey so far. At first it was a bumpy ride with me not getting accepted into my dream college and having to go to a junior college before I could get into the college I wanted. All you did was prayed about it and our answers were answered left and right. When one the professors of my dream college emailed me put me in as a probationary status to get into college. Finally we prayed about it over and over and finally I got the email that I was accepted into my dream college. At first you wanted me to pursue a career in nursing, but when I wanted to be an education music major, you did nothing but support me through making that decision. I could never be happier, proud, and blessed to have you by my side through this journey that I am currently enjoying at college.

So like I said before, thank you mom. Thank you for making me a better person in life as I go through this long journey that has many turns and trials. Thanks for loving me, caring for me, pushing me to do harder in school and life, and for encouraging me to be a better me. I know you tried many years to have a child and finally I was the lucky one. I am so glad to call you my mom. I am so blessed that God created such a loving and caring person as you. I love you to the moon and back. You are my rock star!

Sincerely,

Sarah Jessica

Friendship. It's defined as the state of being attached to another person by feelings of affection or personal regard, but what really is friendship? Is it that occasional hallway talk with that one person who always manages to cheer you up? Is it that relationship you have with someone where they can be gone for a long period of time, but when they come back, it's like they never left? Is it spending every waking hour with someone, and knowing every detail about their life? Is it the relationship that's filled with fighting, but filled with even more resolution? I've learned that it's all of these things, and every friendship is different. It's a beautifully dysfunctional mess that should always be cherished and never be taken for granted.

cousins

I've known you your entire life. More than likely I held you in the first three days of it and at least one of us cried. Cousins are truly one of the best things in the world and while sometimes I complain about how many people crowd Grandma's living room on Christmas Eve, I wouldn't trade you all anything.

You are my best friends, the only people who can understand what it's like on Thanksgiving, and you are the spunkiest people I have ever met. But you as so so young, most of you are just now starting your adventures in the public education system. I mean, I'm so very young too. I'm not married, I don't have children, heck, I just started my adult life, but I do want to give you what little advice I have. My dears, these are the things I want you to know.
