A thank you.

This is a thank you to all of those people who have done something for me and have never asked for anything in return.

To my best friend who does everything for me without question:

Thank you for being there for me through everything, thick or thin and never leave me alone, and...... well that really embarrassing moment that you never let me live down. Thank you for your endless planning of our soon to be wedding, just because we both don't have boyfriends and we're meant to be together. Everything you do for me makes me smile, especially that one time that we don't speak of. Thank you for always knowing when I need a hug and when I'm about to cry and make me smile instead. Thank you for loving me endlessly and always being the Yzma to my Kronk. Even though we both know that I'm Maleficent at heart. DISNEY VILLAINS UNITE!!!

To my best friends mom:

You know who you are ;)

Thank you so much for everything you do for me and my family, you never cease to amaze me and you never stop loving me even though I'm not your own daughter. Thank you for all those rides that you've given me, and thank you for the food that you supply me with.....really thanks for the food. Thank you for always being there to support me when my parents can't, I know you love me like I'm your own and it really means a lot. Thank you for listening to my endless babbling with your daughter; I can tell it annoys you but you never say anything about it so thank you. Also thank you for always keeping me informed on the gossip that i didn't know about. Anytime you need a babysitter for your Disney loving daughter, I'll be here. I love you Mom #2 and I owe you BIG TIME!

To my teachers and club mentors:

Thank you for everything you've done for me in my high school career. You've helped mold me into the person I am. I may have a few more years with you, but you've already changed me into a great person and for that I am thankful. Thank you for pushing me on that one paper I could have done better on, thank you for helping me prepare for a competition at the last minute, and thank you for helping me achieve my goals, even though they seemed hard at the time.

To my siblings:

Even though I may hate you guys sometimes, thanks for annoying me until I scream. I know you do it because you love me or just in fact because you like to see me mad. Thanks for always being my chauffeur, driving me to my friends house even when you really don't want to. Thank you for helping me with that project or essay that I couldn't quite understand….or thanks for helping me figure out how to submit my articles, because I'm not the best with those kinds of things. Thanks for making me see that my goals were reachable and in fact too small, and that I can achieve so much more. Thank you for making me realize that maybe I didn't want to do something for me, just to please someone else, and that I really hated to do it. Thank you for here for me and loving me endlessly.

To my parents:

I love you guys, what more can I say.

Thank you for supporting me in everything I've done(even if it was stupid). Thank you for helping me get to California and achieve that nationals win. Thank you for helping me when it came to school, math's just not my strong suit. Thank you for being there for me through everything. I know we've been through some hard times but your love has never wavered for a moment. Words just don't apply when it comes to thanking you. I mean I wouldn't be here, writing this, had it not been for you. So thank you!

Thank you’s are words just spoken out loud, but with the right emotion, are a very powerful thing. Thank you to everyone who's helped someone else, supported someone in time of need, and maybe that one time you opened a door for a stranger.

cousins

I've known you your entire life. More than likely I held you in the first three days of it and at least one of us cried. Cousins are truly one of the best things in the world and while sometimes I complain about how many people crowd Grandma's living room on Christmas Eve, I wouldn't trade you all anything.

You are my best friends, the only people who can understand what it's like on Thanksgiving, and you are the spunkiest people I have ever met. But you as so so young, most of you are just now starting your adventures in the public education system. I mean, I'm so very young too. I'm not married, I don't have children, heck, I just started my adult life, but I do want to give you what little advice I have. My dears, these are the things I want you to know.

You are a senior in high school, you have made it to the final year that you have been looking forward to since the first day of freshman year. Whether this has been the worst or best four years of your life, appreciate it. You will never have these times back, you will never be in high school again. It is hard for someone still in high school to wrap their brain around, but there will be a day when you wish you could be in the shoes you're in right now. Here are 15 things I have learned being in college that I wish I knew as a high school senior:

Everyone, and I mean everyone has heard of the show "One Tree Hill". Many people think that this show is the best thing they've ever watched and others won't bother watching it because they know they'll get hooked. And yes, I know many people have written about this show before, but I couldn't resist. I could re-watch every season multiple times to the point where I can almost quote an entire scene. Trust me, once you start "One Tree Hill", you will be hooked. There's way too many reasons to list as to why you'll love this show, and these are just a few.

The first two weeks of classes have come to an end and they have been anything BUT easy. It seems like life has been serving up more bad than good and in all honesty, the only thing you want to do is crawl under your covers and hide from the rest of the world.

Although this seems like the best solution, it is also the easy way out. Take it from the girl who took basically a whole week off from her life because she just could not handle everything that was being thrown at her. This caused her to feel extremely lonely and even more stressed out for being behind in classes that JUST began.
