Happy 3 Years My Love.

A Thank You Letter

Naythan,

3 years. We have been together for three years now, and it's been... breathtaking, easy, hard, romantic and beautiful. You have made me look at the world differently because of the love you have given me and I can't thank you enough for everything you have done for me. Because without you, life would be so dull.

I have always said that our love came unannounced in the middle of the night. It came fast and unexpected. It was rough in the beginning, kinda the opposite of most couples in the beginning of their relationships. Our first kiss was on the day you received your first round of chemo. And that was hard. It was heartbreaking to see you go through that, but I learned so much about you and how big of a heart you have. And how you are so selfless when you had the right to be selfish. During the circumstances you were going through, anyone would understand, but that's just not who are. And I love you for that.

So thank you for being you.

Thank you for being reliable, affectionate, sincere, intelligent and compassionate. All those things really make you who you are and by you having those qualities, it makes me want to be better for you and myself. Thank you for always wanting the best for me, and helping me when I ask or don't ask. And thank you for always wanting me to think for myself and trying to understand me when sometimes I don't make sense. Thank you for pushing me to do my best in everything I do and try. Thank you for staying with me when I was trying to leave because I was scared of the future. Thank you for continuously and effortlessly loving me and only wanting the best for me, even if we don't end up together later in life.

So we agreed to live in the now and focus on our relationship right now in the moment and not worry about the future. I just know that in this moment I still want to be able to sit in between your legs and read a book, play rummy with you and beat you, go on day trips to the beach or Yosemite and learn more about each other because there is so much more to you that I want to know. I still want you to put lotion on my feet, brush my hair, tickle my back and hold my hand. I want to keep watching the news with you because thats all you want to watch, and dragging you to Target because I need to shop. And when I go back to school this fall I hope you're still a call away when I need help on my homework or I need to vent about the little things. Long distance is nothing when it's with you. You make it so easy, so thank you. Thank you for everything, thank you for loving me.

I hope these past 3 years were as wonderful for you as they were for me because I wouldn't trade them for anything. You are an amazing human being that I want in my life always, no matter what happens to us.

I love you Naythan Zachary Bryant. Happy 3 Year Anniversary my luv.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
