Sometimes we question God’s decisions in our lives, but who are we to assume we know what’s best? It’s impossible for us to know how a situation could’ve turned out differently, yet we still yearn for different outcomes. Even the smallest instances could have drastic impacts on our lives, so it is important that we consistently trust God’s plan for our lives. It is typical of us to undermine God's authority and try to live how we want, disregarding the set plan He has for each of us. Stay focused and don't let your faith waiver when something isn't necessarily going in your favor. Just because something is not particularly going the way you desire does not mean that God is not using that hardship to your benefit. God may use those instances to make you a better person by making you stronger, or maybe humbling you through weakness. God knows your need and He knows exactly how to get you where you need to be. God does not make mistakes and His timing is perfect. Remember that when you're questioning something as small as to why you're behind the slowest possible person while running late on your way to work. Trust God in everything you do and know that everything has a fruitful purpose in your life. Thank God for the closed doors, because when one door closes another door opens.
“A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.” Proverbs 16:9
