Growing up with a sister is interesting because sometimes you are allies; a team ready to take over the world together. Then, there are also times that you are both each other's worst nemesis.

Whatever you are feeling today, you for sure have sent and received these text messages from your sister:

1. "Tell Mom to answer me."

That is a daily because when you need your Mom and she's not answering ASAP, you gotta track her down some way, some how.

2. "Wanna get food?"

No matter where it is, no matter what it is, it's always a quick reply of "yes." There's nothing better than an adventure to go eat, especially when you try something new together.

3. "Hurry up, we are going to be late."

It is usually followed by "Stop looking at yourself, let's go" or "Stop taking pictures of yourself."

4. "Can you do me a favor?"

You just stare at the screen and take a deep breath because you have no idea what's to be asked. Will she ask for your first born, a kidney perhaps?

5. "Listen to what I just found out."

There is usually an explosion of text messages followed by juicy detailed gossip.

6. "Can you pick me up?"

Of course.

7. "What are we getting Mom for *insert holiday here*?"

Ummm, good question.

8. "Miss you" or "When are you coming home?"

It's the best when you receive these ones; you feel the sisterly love.

9. "Can we get Starbucks on the way?"

Because Heaven forbid we don't get Starbucks.

10. "Can we watch The Kardashians together?" or "Look at this about the Kardashians."

It's safe to say that the Kardashian pregnancies are talked about at least once a day.

11. "What do I caption this?" or "Do I post this?" or "Do I look good in this? Be honest."

Nothing is more frustrating than captions.

12. "I'm craving food from our place right now."

That happens on a daily basis.

13. "OK, so today ..."

Your sister is the only person that you can rant to openly and she will 100 percent agree with you and back you up. It's great.

14. "What's the password for ..."

Hulu, Netflix, iTunes, Wi-Fi ... you name it, I got it.

15. "Did you see her Story last night?"

Oh, the scandal! Oh, the shame!

In case you're unaware, "resting bitch face" is the term used to describe when a person's natural, expressionless face makes it look like they are mad at the world. Whether they are walking down the street or simply spacing out thinking about what to eat for dinner, it's very easy for others to assume that this person is either upset or mad at them. Because of this, those of us with Resting Bitch Face (RBF), and especially us women, have all experienced many of the same situations and conversations, including:

We've all had a crush before. Whether it leads to something or nothing, the process has all been the same. The awkward feelings, the stalking, and the stress of trying to keep this huge secret. The feeling of becoming a total spazz is something that cannot be avoided, and the most spazzy family that can relate to this feeling is the Belcher's.

At the tender age of 18, we are bestowed with the title of “adult.” For 17 years, we live under the rules and guidelines of our parents, school, and government, and to stray from any of those rules or guidelines marks us as a rebel. At 18, though, we must choose which college we want to go to or what career we want. We are allowed and encouraged to vote. We can buy lottery tickets and cigarettes. We can drop out of school, leave our household, and do other "adult" things. At 18, we start down a path of thinking for ourselves, when for the entirety of our lives other institutions have been mandated to think and do for us.

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.
