FORT WORTH, TX. – March 21, 2017 – TCU Frogs took an unpredicted win against Richmond Spiders for the men’s collegiate NCAA quarterfinal. Finishing the game with a score of 86-68, TCU beat Richmond by 18 points. TCU has a record of 6-12 (wins to losses) for this year’s conference, while Richmond has a record of 13-5.
Star player and point guard for TCU, Jaylen Fisher was unable to play in the game due to a broken wrist. This was a large contributing factor to the unexpected defeat.
The Frogs were up by 15 with a score of 41 – 26 at the half time.
The Frogs have now secured their trip to Madison Square Garden to advance in the tournament.
