The world has been up in arms over Tangerine In Command's Immigration Ban, which was instated the other week. Seven countries have been barred entry to the United States, and visa and green card holders have been detained at airports upon attempting to reenter the country.
This has caused extreme difficulty for international touring artists. Many have had to cancel shows and entire tours because they're suddenly unable to travel to the US.
Four Tet - Kieran Hebden - had begun compiling a public playlist about a year ago. In response to the ban, his most recent contributions to the playlist have been artists from the banned countries. Syria, Iran, Yemen, and more are represented in the playlist as a small acknowledgment to the extreme order.
