For those of us throwing a Haunting Halloween party this bone-chilling season this article is for you. Here are three delicious and simple recipes for snacks and the alike to tempt your guest’s taste buds.

Pumpkin Rice Krispies

This is a recipe that received some viral attention this year and for good reason it is delicious.

Ingredients:

6 Cups Rice Krispy Treats

3 Tbs Butter

10 oz Marshmallows (Around 1 bag

Red and Yellow food coloring

Green tube of icing

Tootsie Rolls

Directions:

  1. Take a large saucepan and melt your butter on low to medium heat.
  2. Add Marshmallows and continuously stir till it melts completely.
  3. Remove from heat and add in drops of yellow and red food coloring to your judgement and stir till you reach a bright orange color.
  4. Add in the rice krispies and thoroughly mix the rice krispies and marshmallow mixture together.
  5. With well-greased hands grab a handful of the mix and roll it in your palm till it is round. Place on a sheet of parchment.
  6. When all the mix is in balls on the parchment start cutting tootsie rolls in half and placing the halves singularly on the rice Krispy balls like stems.
  7. Lastly take your green tube of icing and create a green leaf coming off of the stem onto the pumpkin.

Then you have your devilishly delicious treat.

Li’l Lips

A simply scrumptious snack good for all ages.

Ingredients:

Apples

Peanut Butter

Marshmallows

Directions:

  1. Slice one of your apples into thin half inch slices.
  2. Take two slices and make an apple peanut butter sandwich.
  3. Face the red skin upwards and take two marsh mallows and place them in the center of the sandwich to look like teeth.
  4. Repeat based of how many you want.

Then you are finished with your Vamptastic snack.

Hot Fingers

A sinfully savory snack for those that are hankering for a meaty treat.

Ingredients:

Hot Dogs

Hot Dog buns

Ketchup

Almond slices

Directions:

  1. Place your raw hot dogs laying vertically on a surface safe for cutting.
  2. Create three horizontal shallow (about a quarter inch deep) slices across two evenly spaced areas near the middle of the hot dog in the style of knuckle lines.
  3. Cook your Hot Dogs in the microwave.
  4. Remove the Hot Dogs from the micro wave and roughly rip off about an inch of meat at the bottom of each Hot Dog.
  5. Then with side with the knuckles facing up at the top of the Hot dog cut out a shallow divot that is the same size as one of your sliced almonds.
  6. Now take one of the sliced almonds and delicately press it into the divot so it looks like a nail.
  7. Lastly place your fingers on a plate of your choice and add ketchup to the roughly ripped bottom of your Hot Dogs graciously, also add ketchup around and under your almond nail, to make the finger/Hot Dog look bloody.
  8. place your finger dog in the bun with the slices and nail facing up.

Now you are finished with fantastic Fingers. Hopefully these recipes helped you out a bit and will make your party the talk of the town, Happy Trick or Treating.
