Good roommates can be hard to come by, and ones that double as your best friend are even harder to find. There a few universal truths to when your roommate is your best friend, and what better way to tell them than with bulldogs! Here are ten things that only happen when your roommate is also your best friend.

1. You can find creative ways to stop them from making bad decisions when they won’t listen to you

They always appreciate you in the end (just maybe not in the moment).

2. You know it’s going to be a good night when they’re the ones walking next to you into the club

Your night always seem to be more fun when they’re involved.

3. You’re super good at cheering them up when something bad happens

And they aren’t bad at cheering you up either (sometimes they even let you jump in their bed and watch TV).

4. Neither of you know what you’re doing but you help each other anyway

Because mistakes are always better when they aren’t made alone.

5. You get real excited when you see them for the first time after a while apart

Because somehow, someway, three weeks always seems to feel like three years.

6. You frequently gang up on the same people together

Everyone knows you two are always a force to be reckoned with when you're together.

7. Your favorite hobby is pestering them

They don’t appreciate it very much, but they love you enough to tolerate it (most of the time).

8. They're your go to dinner partner

Friends that eat together stay together.

9. They love you even before you look like a human in the morning

Nothing says friendship like loving each other on your ugly days.

10. You two are so close that people start to question if you’re dating or not

Are you really best friends if they don’t make someone question your sexuality?!

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
