10 Things That Annoy Everyone

Everyone has some things that annoy people. Here is just a list of a few things that annoy everyone. Just thinking about traffic can make someone get worked up. Everyone is on the same page about most of these things.

1. Traffic

Traffic is always the worst. People get impatient and it feels like you are never going to get out of it. It could almost feel like an eternity at times. People are honking, cutting you off and all you see is brake lights in front of you. You are fearing your life every time another car cuts in front of you.

2. When your phone dies

The worst is when your phone dies while you are out. It's the worst feeling ever. It always seems to die at the worst times. Expecting a very important text back? That's when it dies. It seems like it wants to make you angry. Your phone can either be your best friend or your worst enemy depending on the day.

3. When you have to go to the bathroom and you're on a long car ride

Everyone knows long car rides can become annoying at times. The worst feeling is when you realize you have to use the bathroom and there's no bathroom in what feels like a million miles.

4. When you're on the phone with someone and they won't stop talking even though you have to go.

Some people don't know when enough is enough. They keep on talking no matter what you say. You could tell them you have to be somewhere but they don't care they keep talking anyways.

5. Waiting

Waiting is the worst. Waiting for anything can feel like an eternity. It's hard for time to go by fast when you're waiting. When the time finally comes where you don't have to wait anymore though, it's an amazing feeling.

6. When someone changes the plans last minute

Have you ever looked forward to plans, and at the last minute someone changes them? I hate this, and you probably do too. It could ruin your day.

7. Homework

You go to school and do work and then you have to come home and do homework? Who even thought of this concept? It's ridiculous.

8. Getting up early

Everyone hates when their alarm goes off. It's such a horrible feeling especially when it's super early. No one wants to see 6 am on their alarm clock. Most of the time you're so comfortable in bed, that it feels like such a tease to have to get up.

9. Wet clothes

The worst is when you're on your way to work and it starts pouring out. You have to get out of your car and walk into work, but there are puddles of water everywhere. You step in one - now your feet are soaked and your clothes are soaked and you have to be in those clothes for the next eight hours.

10. No Wifi

The worst is when you want to use WiFi, but it is not working. You are just sitting there looking at your phone, but no WiFi. When you are trying to do schoolwork and the WiFi isn't working, it makes you want to cry.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

There are moments where we count down the hours until work is over and how many more days till the weekend, and this many weeks until something exciting. Or something like that? Well, I was bumming because my next day off from work is not until Memorial Day weekend, which is not until the end of May. And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…
