It seems to me that few bonds exist stronger than that of mother and daughter.

You call her up in a heartbeat, whether it's to spend a day on the town, a day in front of the TV, or simply to hear her voice. You rely on her for her support, smiles, and so much more. If you're a momma's girl like me, you'll most definitely catch yourself doing these things on a daily basis.

You call her seventeen times per week, minimum.

Giphy

There are endless reasons to call your mom! Add up all of the strange questions, funny stories, and bad moods, and you're obviously gonna dial her number more than once a day.

You text her 24/7.

Giphy

Messaging her makes the day go faster and keeps a smile on your face. Don't try and tell me you don't overuse the gifs and emojis in your conversations, because you know you do. No shame, though!

You run errands with her.

Giphy

Doesn't matter if it's Target, Walmart, or Giant. If you enjoy your mom's company like me, running errands with her can be a blast! Who knows, maybe you'll accidentally end up at TJMaxx along the way.

You complain about annoying people with her.

Giphy

No explanation necessary. If you don't dislike the same people, are you even bonding at all?

You hug her all the time (obvi).

Giphy

There's nothing greater than the feeling of one of your mom's hugs! You could swear she's a professional or something...

You share the feels over all of your favorite movies and TV shows.

Giphy

If she's not gonna be your shoulder to cry on when you've gotta wait an entire six months for a new season of The Good Place, then who is?

You miss her cooking when you're away.

Giphy

Your food (err, umm...Pizza Hut's food) is decent, but there's nothing like your mom's home cooked meals.

You count down the days until it's time to come home and visit.

Giphy

You cherish being on your own, but she's your mom and you miss her! Can't help that.

You crank up the radio with her when a jam comes on.

Giphy

She raised you on her music, and you can't help but love it as much as she. How can you not sing along when Bon Jovi comes on?

You know in your heart that she's your best friend in the whole wide world.

Giphy

It is a beautiful thing when you go from being simply mother and daughter to friends.

She's your closest confidant, and no one understands you better. She'll be there for you if nobody else, and you share your best and worst days with her. She loves you without any conditions, and you couldn't ask for a higher honor than to be her daughter.

5 Things To Do That Are Better Than Writing A Paper

Don't waste your time trying to write that paper when there are so many more interesting things you could be doing.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?

I can barely remember back when I was the only child. Most would say it’s because it is extremely difficult to remember things as a toddler but I would say it's because I was bored until my sister came along. My mother always says how important the "sister bond" is and with every year that passes I realize how right she is. Instead of writing a novel about all of the wonderful things there are about having a sister I decided to list a few of them instead.

It is the time of our lives that we are beginning to enter the adult world and most of us, if not all of us, have no idea what we are doing. It's like starting a video game, but skipping the tutorial. We're all just running around aimlessly hoping we accidentally do something right that moves us along the right path. Now that graduation has just happened, or is right around the corner for some of us, it's time to start thinking about how we are going to take care of ourselves once we are on our own.

If you’re anything like me, you love a good cup of coffee. My coffee always comes from Starbucks; I refuse to drink it from anywhere else. Over the years, it’s become one of my biggest addictions. College involves a whirlwind of emotions, whether it’s from the stress of an assignment (or twenty), or from fighting with your roommate.
