Ten Shows All 90's Kids Remember

We all remember sitting down after school and turning on the TV to watch our favorite shows! Unfortunately those shows have stopped airing on TV so now all we have left of them are our memories. So here's ten shows every 90's kid can remember watching and a little recap about why each one was a favorite!

1. "Rolie Polie Olie"

When watching this show as kids we all wished we were in the land of curves and curls with Olie and his family including his dog Spot. Every mission Olie and Billy went on felt like we were apart of it too!

2. Ed, Edd n Eddy

This was a very strange show but while watching it, it was impossible not to laugh and cringe! They always did the craziest things together.

3. Dexter's Laboratory

While watching Dexter's Laboratory we always knew Dee Dee was up to no good and wanting to spoil his experiments. When the episode was over, all of his experiments made us all wanting to be scientists.

4. Rugrats

We all remember the evil Angelica and how she always bossed around Tommy and all his friends. Whenever she stole a toy from them they always had to find a way to secretly getting it back. We all kept watching to see what they would come up with next.

5. That's So Raven

We were all jealous of Raven because she could see small glimpses into the future. Eddie and Chelsea were her two best friends that helped her change the future if needed.

6. Dragon Tails

We all "wished and wished with all our heart to fly with dragons in a land apart", just like Max and Emmy did. Ord, Cassie and Zak and Wheezie were all our favorite dragons and we wished we had a magic rock to go to Dragon Land.

7. Blue's Clues

Blue's Clues was a favorite for many, learning new things as we grew, Steve and his puppy Blue were always there to help us!

8. Arthur

We all remember Arthur and his gang teaching us life lessons. Wether it was about bullies or homework it was always a wonderful day to learn!

9. Courage the Cowardly Dog

Courage always went above and beyond to save his family even though he was terrified. He encouraged us to be courageous just like him!

10. Jimmy Neutron

Jimmy was the boy genius we all wish we were. His knowledge made the adventures he went on so extravagant and thrilling to be apart of while watching!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
