HI WELCOME TO CHILI'S!
Chili's is the best. There are so many reasons why that it is overwhelming. I recommend Chili's to everyone with a restaurant nearby. Here's TEN reasons why you should go to Chili's!
1. 2 for $20
You want something quick and cheap with a friend? Go to Chili's and get the 2 for $20 deal. You get an appetizer and two entrees for ~$20. (Add drinks and tax, it comes to around $24.) The menu offers delicious options for appetizers. I personally like getting the half order of Texas Cheese Fries which are topped with jalapeños and bacon. It's delicious. Then my entree is either Cajun Chicken Pasta or Bacon Ranch Quesadillas. Either way, it's worth the $12-$15 I end up spending, along with my friend of course.
2. The options are ENDLESS!
There is something for everyone. While I like to stick to my pasta or quesadillas, there is a wide range of options to pick from. My mother liked the Honey Chipotle Chicken Crispers, and I have friends who get the Chicken Fajitas. The fajitas are served still cooking on the skillet thing (I don't remember if it's actually called a skillet because I rarely get to see them.) They have seafood, chicken, pastas, burgers, quesadillas, fajitas, tacos, enchiladas, steak, ribs...you name it, they most likely have it.
3. They listen to the customers!
A lot of restaurants are getting better at this, but Chili's is really good about it. One day, the first time ever, I had burnt quesadillas. Very annoying. It was a rough day and I really just wanted to enjoy my food. I sent them a tweet, saying, "I know you can do better than this." They responded by sending a link to their customer service page where I told them about myself and then my meal and how unsatisfied I was. A few days later, I got mail from them with three $5 gift cards. They apologized for the poor quality meal. The $15 was basically how much I spent on the meal, including tax, and then some. I was extremely grateful. I also see that their team is quick to respond to other people's complaints on their Facebook page and on twitter.
4. They support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
For more than 12 years, Chili's has partnered with the hospital to raise awareness to fight against childhood cancer. Each September, they offer customers the opportunity to donate $1, $5, $10, and $25 and color a chili pepper. This year, I noticed they offered different items depending on the donation. I donated $10 and got a shirt. I loved Chili's, and now not only did I have a Chili's shirt, but I also got to donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I noticed that now, they also offer the option to create a pepper during the holidays. In 2013, they already raised over $50 million in donations for the hospital.
5. To Go is "lit"
Getting food to go is so easy. Order on the app or online. The website is super easy to navigate, the app is simple to use. You could just call them, too. They're good with picking up the phone.
6. Rewards!!
Before November or so, they had a rewards program where after you'd pay for your meal, you'd get points! You would get points based on the subtotal. Now, they have teamed up with Plenti to offer more rewards. Points can be earned at Chili's, Macy's, and other places. More points to spend at Chili's? Sign me up.
7. Good service
As far as my experience goes, out of the hundreds of times I have gone to eat at Chili's, I have only had one bad time. One. That is basically nothing. The waiters and waitresses are very well trained. You can tell a lot of them actually want to help you.
8. Good food
Did I mention the food is really good? It is. Especially for the price you pay. Other places *coughapplebee'scough* doesn't meet the quality that Chili's has.
9. Ziosk!
I know a lot of restaurants have this kiosk (it's called a ziosk at Chili's, at least) to help with paying and all of that, but I especially like that you can order desserts and pay right on the device. Of course, it's card only but it's so much easier. Especially when you have a million gift cards like me, haha.
10. The inside of the restaurant is really cool.
As far as I'm concerned, all the locations look the same. I like the cozy feeling. The dimmed lights, the Chili's logo sort of burned into the wood on the table, the tables themselves are really nice. This one sounds really weird but I swear it's great.
All these qualities created a really great restaurant. Nothing will ever top Chili's for me.
