It's always an uncomfortable situation when your friend likes a guy who just isn't responding to her texts (and Facebook messages, snaps, Instagram direct messages, tweets, smoke signals, etc). However, as a friend, you will always be there to remind her how fabulous she is, and how any guy who isn't obsessed with her must be crazy.

Here are some things that girls tell each other in these moments of desperation.

1. You are too hot for him.

2. You are too smart for him.

3. Speaking of which, you just intimidate him with your awesomeness.

4. He must have gotten hit by a bus on his way to answer you.

5. He broke his phone and therefore hasn't answered.

6. He must have lost your number.

7. He just didn’t see your text.

8. He must be gay.

9. Maybe he really isn't over his Ex yet...

10. If he can't love you like I do, you are better off without him.

There are enough people in your life who love you and would gladly maintain your 50 day snap-streak. You are gorgeous, smart, caring, and absolutely hilarious. Anyone who can't muster a simple answer to you is definitely missing out--so good riddance to him!

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
