With summer beginning to wind down and people returning to college, here are some Michael Scott quotes that we can all relate to when in college...
1. "Sometimes I'll start a sentence and I don't even know where it is going. I just hope I find it along the way."
Being a college student isn't easy sometimes. This may happen to most of us when we get writer's block when writing a 12-page English research paper that is due at midnight.
2. "Do you think doing alcohol is cool?"
Obviously doing alcohol is cool.. especially in college on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
3. "I understand nothing."
When you're taking college courses and you study hours on end for that big exam that you have tomorrow and spend the entire night in the library yet you still don't understand anything.
4. "Only thing that could make this day better is ice cream."
I think this could go for everyday, especially when in college and you have three tests, a paper and presentation all due tomorrow.
5. "Sometimes you just gots to get your freak on."
It's completely necessary to get your freak on over the weekend to help you relax and wind down from a stressful week.
6. "Why don't you explain this to me like I am an eight-year old?"
Professor, you have tried explaining this to the class three different ways and still nobody understands what you are saying. Please professor, explain it to us like we're little kids again.
7. "That's what she said!"
I think I can speak for everyone in college when I say that I hear people say this at least ten times a day if not more. Everything said in college can be taken and interpreted the wrong way into something perverted.
8. "I am running away from my responsibilities and it feels good."
Although blowing off studying and writing that eight page paper only causes more stress in the end, it definitely feels good for those couple of hours when you lock yourself in your room and binge-watch Netflix.
9. "I feel like I'm dyin' inside."
The stress of college never ends and there comes a time, especially during finals when you feel that you may just be slowly dying in side.
10. "I feel very blessed."
At the end of the year, even through the bad days with not-so-great test grades and never ending stress, looking back on all the new friends and memories made, I do have to say that I am very fortunate and blessed to be able to attend such a prestigious university.
Michael Scott, you never fail to make us all laugh.
