Everyone be jealous because I am in LA right now living the life ;) I’ve been here for two days and I love it already, I definitely should have taken my college counselor's advice and gone to school here but whatever. Anyway, I’m here to tell you what you should do during this precious 7-day long break.

1. Go somewhere warm.

Or if you are somewhere warm already stay there. You and your body need it after this horrendous winter we just had/ are still having

2. Walk a lot.

It just makes the trip and the break even better because you are getting to know the place you are that much better

3. Eat a lot!

The best part of life is eating if we are being honest right now. And it will make your break worth it :) I have found amazing restaurants here and hope to find even more to make my life amazing

4. Go to the beach.

Because the truth is that spring break was made to go to the beach

5. Pet some dogs.

Your dog, your friends’ dogs, a stranger’s dog and any single dog really. They will love it and so will you

6. Drink.

If you can legally do it wherever you are, drink. Live it up!

7. Visit friends.

Maybe spring break is the one week of the year when you can visit friends that go to other schools or live farther away from you. Reconnect, that's important

8. Sleep in!

Even though during school you get to sleep in sometimes and during the weekend it just doesn't feel the same like sleeping in for a whole week when you don’t actually have to do anything

9. Go to the movies.

I watched "The Brothers Grimsby" and it was stupid funny, definitely recommend it a lot. So go to the movies and go crazy watching movies

10. Have interesting conversations.

Meet new people or have interesting conversations with your family and friends, learn new things that are not school related, it'll be fun

11. Get some jogging in.

With the nice weather you know you will think about running outside, BUT don't just think about it. Actually do it, it'll be worth it.

So yeah, there are some good things to do this break everyone, enjoy and relax!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
