Teen Mom: OG's Season Has Ended

What shall I do with my life?

Teen Mom: OG's Season Has Ended
Internal Business Times

So, now that Teen Mom is over, I seriously don't know what to do with my life; that is until Teen Mom 2 starts, of course. If you haven't realized from some of my previous articles, I am a reality TV junkie. I honestly think it comes from my love for writing and imagining the scenes that I can write about in books. Here were some of my thoughts as I watched Teen Mom this season.

1. Every time Farrah got into an argument with someone.

Now, every time this face came on my TV screen, I wanted to cringe. She is so rude, disrespectful and has no regard for other people. I watch the way her parents stick around to help her with things, the way Simon keeps coming back, and the way everyone just tries to tiptoe around her. I honestly applauded Debra's fiancé for speaking on things that needed to be brought to Farrah's attention. Yes, he may have seemed out of bounds being that they had just met, but he was still very correct in the things that he said. I can honestly see how she is still cast for the show after physically pushing a producer, ordering them to use a porta potty and just being plain disrespectful to anyone in her wake. Farrah, please take into account that you are not above anyone and no one is beneath you. Whatever help it is that you need, please, for the sake of all that need to be in contact with you, seek and embrace it. Don't be ashamed, we all have our flaws; your flaws are seen more because you are on TV. Keep that in mind.

2. Catelynn leaving rehab

Sorry, I know this is an old picture but this was the quickest one I could find. Now, mostly through the season, I sympathized with Catelynn, being that I was someone that suffered from depression and suicidal ideations. My heart went out to her so many times, and I was ecstatic to see that she went to rehab to help herself. There was one thing that I was totally disappointed by, and that was when she covered up the camera and started smoking with her mother. I'm not a judge, nor can I be her jury, but I was very disappointed to see that she fell back into the error of her ways so soon, if at all.

3. Maci and her growth

Maci, I can't say she surprised me with her growth. I knew that she would always be the strong woman that you see on the show today, just from watching the previous seasons. From her arguments and expectations of Ryan to her being a great mom and finally finding love that she deserved, I applaud her. I could tell that she is very level headed and laid back. I was so happy that she finally got her dream--to be married to someone that shares an equal amount of love for her. I applaud her also for embracing Ryan's current girlfriend and allowing herself to have a moment with the woman.

4. Amber and her self-esteem

Amber, I sympathize with you when it comes to looking and feeling the best that you can. I agree with Matt when he said that you needed no surgery, but I also know how it feels to want to be the best you. Remember that no matter what the people on the other side of the television and magazines say, you are working every day to be the best you that you can be. Everyone has their flaws, and just because yours happen to be shown on TV doesn't mean that you deserve people picking into your life and depressing you. You're beautiful, and no one should be making you feel any different-- especially not Farrah Abraham.

These were my thoughts and feelings on Teen Mom: OG. Some are more heartfelt than others, and some are negative. This is just a glimpse into what other people on the other side of the TV see.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
