If you're a coffee lover, please hear me out; there are teas out there that even you should have at home. Teas can be brewed a primarily two different ways; you can use a tea bag or a tea infuser. Chamomile tea is known as to help people sleep, but other than aiding in sleep it also has other health benefits. It is also known to help soothe stomach aches, promotes sleep, and it promotes healthy skin!
2) Green Tea
Obviously this wouldn't be a tea article without mentioning green tea, but here are some benefits of green tea that you may have not heard of yet. Green tea is known to improve your brain function and can "make you smarter". What I mean by this, is that green tea has caffeine in it, but not enough to create those "jittery" effects like coffee might do. Drinking green tea can help lower the risk of developing cancers such as; breast cancer, and prostate cancer. Not to mention some green tea, a little bit of lemon, and a little bit of honey is always good on after a long day!
3) Hibiscus Tea
There a many different health benefits of hibiscus tea, some including relief from; high blood pressure, high cholesterol, digestive, immune system, and inflammatory issues. It also contains vitamins and minerals which contain antidepressant properties, and consuming this type of tea can help calm down your nervous system; which can reduce anxiety and depression. Not to mention, it's good tea to drink in bother the Summer and Winter.
4) Ginger Tea
Ginger tea is great in aiding in digestion, can curb nausea, vomiting, and helping with an upset stomach duet to motion sickness. Ginger is amazing for your body along with helping improve your immune system. It's a great Fall and Winter tea because of the heat it brings to your everyday tea.
5) Black tea
Black teas are one of the most highly caffeinated teas with about 40 milligrams of caffeine per cup. That's not including the caffeinated teas that have added caffeine to them to make them stronger. Black tea also contains thearubigins and theaflavins which are antioxidants that have been linked to lowering cholesterol levels. Plus black tea can be a go to drink to have before work, and it's less sugar than what you put into flavored coffee.
