I want to thank you both for everything you did for me in high school. At times, high school was difficult and a place that I did not want to be. When I had problems that I needed to talk about, you two were the ones I could count on. I knew that I could go to you with anything. I would never feel judged and I would never feel like you did not care. Thank you for being caring and understanding when it came to the problems I had. Even if these problems were small and did not seem to matter, you never made me feel like I was boring you. You listened while I talked on and on and I cannot thank you enough for that.

You made me feel like I belonged in a place where it was hard to belong. You helped build up my confidence and helped me realize my worth. I do not know where I would be right now if it wasn't for both of you. You impacted my life in ways that are difficult to explain. You made me realize that things get better and things that happen in high school won't matter forever. You helped me realize that some people are not worth keeping. You helped me realize that I can be whoever I want to be if I just work hard. You did so much for me and I miss you both every single day.

Not only did you help me find myself, you also helped me with my school work. I never felt stupid coming to you with a question about something that I did not understand. You were always there to help me and that is how you are with all of your students. You both are such passionate people and it is easy to see that you deeply care for all of your students. You listen to your students, even if they do not listen to you, and you help them when needed. You would never give up the chance to help someone and that is what makes you such great teachers. You also seem so excited everytime that you see me. I love being able to come home from college and see you guys. Seeing how happy you are when you see me makes me realize how much you truly care for me. I love that you both are so caring, even when I am gone.

I just want you both to know that you are great teachers. I know that sometimes it might feel like you are not making a difference, but I promise that you are. There is at least one student who looks up to you, whether it be a high school student or a student who is now in college (aka me!). You should never change the way you teach or the way that you communicate with your students. Any student is lucky to have teachers like you. You are the kind of people who are going to change the world for someone, just like you did for me. You made me feel so much better about the person that I was and I will continue to thank you for that.

You have both inspired me to try my hardest and to never give up. You have taught me so many life lessons, some without even realizing it. I would have been lost in high school without the both of you. I just hope that one day I can make an impact on someone's life for the better like you did with me. I will always miss having your class, but I know that I can always come to you guys if I need anything. Again, thank you for everything that you have done for me. Stay awesome and I hope to see you soon!

Love,

Your Favorite Student

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

You know that all of these things apply to you. You'll just never tell.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
