I get that you are super busy, I mean, you have to teach my class and then your other four or five courses, not to mention you have to keep up with your online classes while going to school to get your doctorate's degree! I would say make sure your family is okay, but you've said in class many times that you don't have one, so you can't use that excuse on me, but if someone near and dear to you is hurt or you are going through something, then I am so sorry, but you need to hear this.
From writing about one professor who showed blatant favoritism to now writing about you — the professor who has no regard for her students and their grades — I am just living the college life, aren't I?
I said in my many emails, ten emails to be exact, that I have tried to be understanding towards you and give you the benefit of the doubt, but screw that; these are my grades we're talking about here and I'm not gonna let them suffer at the hands of your negligence.
I get it, we all have lives and better things to do, but if I am paying thousands of dollars to attend a university to be taught by the best, then I expect the best. I expect professionalism. I expect you to do your job so I can do mine. I'm paying money to attend a class when I end up teaching myself the material. I'm paying you to be lazy, so the least you can do is respond to my email.
But no, it's completely okay. Ignore my emails, drink your coffee, and sit at your desk playing Solitaire; I have nothing better to do other than save my GPA because you won't respond to an email where I am begging you for help in an assignment.
I would at least take a simple, "Checking on this," but that would be asking too much of you. I guess you have to do what you have to do and I'll do what I gotta do.
Screw being the "nice" student — I just want you to respond to my emails so we can discuss things professionally and like grown-ups, but I can already see that's a one-sided conversation that I don't even think I should waste my time and energy on.
