8 Reasons Baylor Is SO Much Better Than TCU

1. The Cities

Baylor is located in Waco, I mean how can you beat that? Check out that beautiful overview.

Whereas Fort Worth is just okay, right?

And I mean, Waco has some real culture to it, doesn't it?

But nah, not Fort Worth at all.

2. The Campuses

Beautiful architecture at Baylor, that's for sure.

Ah, but TCU is just eh.

Just can't get enough of that very average campus at TCU.

3. The Students

TCU students just don't compare, I guess.

4. The School Spirit

Baylor students just have it all figured out.

TCU student spirit is just okay, though.

Yup, no school spirit here.

5. The Tailgating

Baylor has got tailgating down to a tee.

TCU has some okay tailgates too.

6. The Stadiums

Oh, how nice!

TCU's stadium is alright too.

7. The Coaching Staff

I'll admit, Coach Briles knows how to coach a program; and look at that focus.

But, GP does it better.

8. The Players

Baylor has fantastic tackling form.

TCU has some decent players too.

What can I say, Baylor is just so much better than TCU. Right?

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

You can't just go to your room to take a nap in the middle of your classes.

Having to spend all your extra cash on gas for your car.

Speaking of money, you probably don't have a meal plan so you're forced to scrounge up some change or mooch off of your friends.

It can be harder to maintain the friendships you make with people from class.

Finding a parking spot.

It can be harder to be involved on campus because between your one, two, or three jobs and school you don't have much free time.

When you try to be super involved on campus, it can kill your sleep schedule.

It's impossible to do homework at home, but staying on campus isn't an option sometimes.

There are surveys and events that you can't participate in because you're a commuter.

Group projects are the bane of your existence.

Traffic.

Your backpack rivals that of a survivalist trekking in the woods.

Driving all the way to campus to find a note on the door of your classroom saying class was cancelled.

Because have you ever had to endure grilling your foot on a George Foreman?

1. When he just wanted bacon from his George Foreman grill
