1. There will be a song called "Lover"
Taylor is known for naming her album from the title of one of its songs. She has done this with Fearless, Speak Now, and Red, and there was a song called "1989" that was eventually cut from her album tracks on the 1989 album. "Lover" would be such a sweet song title, and I feel like it might be a track about how Taylor wants to be viewed in the world, in the sense of being a lover not a fighter sort of thing.
2. There will be a song called "Kaleidoscope"
Before the name of the album was released, "Kaleidoscope" was rumored to be the name of the album, and I think it would make for a perfect song title. For starters, where snakes were seen in Taylor's Reputation album, butterflies are now seen in the Lover era, and a group of butterflies can be called a kaleidoscope. Kaleidoscopes were also a huge theme in Taylor's "Me!" music video, which shows a snake turning into a kaleidoscope of butterflies in the opening scene, Brendan Urie's heart opening up into a kaleidoscope of "loud heartbeats under coats," a line also featured in Taylor's song "Welcome To New York" off of the 1989 album, and Brendan and Taylor dancing in a seemingly Kaleidoscope-ish rainbow in another scene of the music video. Clearly, kaleidoscopes are a huge theme for Taylor, and a song about Taylor's metamorphosis could definitely be fitting with this title.
3. There will be a song called "Cruel Summer"
In the music video for "You Need To Calm Down," Ellen Degeneres can be seen getting a tattoo by Adam Lambert that says "Cruel Summer." This is something that Taylor would definitely do to hint to a track on her album, and it sounds like it might be a perfect track 5 track.
4. There will be a song about Taylor's sexual assault case
Jack Antanoff, one of Taylor's executive producers for 1989 and Reputation, posted a picture of Taylor working in the studio with him, with a dollar bill taped to a keyboard in the same studio Taylor was at with Antonoff. The dollar bill is significant in Taylor's sexual assault, because that is how much she won for her case, which almost seems to confirm that there will be a song about or in some way relating to her case on her upcoming album.
5. There will be features with Ed Sheeran, Drake, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, and the Dixie Chicks
Taylor said in an early-on interview about her album that there would be both old and new collabs on her album. Ed Sheeran is someone she has collabed with on her Red album with the song "Everything Has Changed," and again on Reputation with "End Game," and I would not be shocked at all to see him again on Lover. Taylor on her Entertainment Weekly cover has pins that she said were easter eggs, and Drake was featured on one of the pins, which makes me think that there will be some sort of collab with him on her upcoming album. Selena Gomez has been friends with Taylor for so many years, even considering herself to be an "og member of the squad," and they have never collabed before, and that seems to be something that is long overdue for the two to do. Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have reestablished their friendship, the two confirmed to the world that they were friends again with Katy Perry in Taylor's "You Need To Calm Down" music video. The Dixie Chicks were featured on the wall of Taylor's "Me!" music video, and it would not be surprising for them to be on her album, since they have since announced their first album after a thirteen-year break, which also happens to be Taylor's lucky number.
6. There will be a song about the things going on with Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta
Taylor said in an early-on interview that songs could be changed on the album, either adding or removing songs before her release date, and since the issues with Braun and Borchetta have become so prevalent to the world, it would not be a surprise to see a song hinting to them on the album.
7. Taylor will speak phrases in French in some songs, including "Je suis calme"
Taylor stated in so many interviews that French and the use of French at the beginning of her "Me!" music video is a major clue to a theme in her album, and I refuse to think that the only hint was to the name of the album, because French is the language of love. "Je suis calme!" was the last thing Taylor said in French in the music video, and that could definitely be a lyric in one of her songs or even a song title for a track on the album, since "You Need To Calm Down" was also said in French at the beginning of the video, and turned out to be a track on the album.
