What To Expect From Taylor Swift At The Grammys

On February 15,2016, the biggest names in music will all come together to celebrate the biggest night in the music industry. This year, CBS will host the 58th Grammy Awards, and it has already been established that it is going to be an incredible night.

The best part of the Grammys is the performances, and there is an all-star list of artists who are going to grace that stage with their amazing talent. Among them include the pop icons Adele, Lady Gaga, bad girl Rihanna, and others such as The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar and, of course, the pop queen herself, Taylor Swift. The seven-time Grammy winner always wows viewers; whether she is performing or just attending, people are sure to be buzzing about her presence the next day.

Now knowing Taylor, there are few things to expect to see from her during the award show.

1. Her outfit is going to be on point.

In the past, Taylor has made some excellent fashion choices, but she saves the best for the Grammys. Last year she wore an Elie Saab blue-green, ombré dress that stood out in the crowd celebrities that were there as well.

2. Her performance is going to be epic.

It has been released that she will be opening the show and if it is going to be anything like her opening performance in 2013 of ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ we should all expect an extraordinary spectacle. There are no clues as to what she will be performing we know it is going to be amazing because even Taylor Nation (her management and promo team) are excited about it.

3. She will be the most graceful human being there.

Even though she is nominated for 8 awards this year it is not guaranteed that she will win them all. So in the possible event that they don’t call her name after “…and the award goes to…”, she will be the perfect portrait of poise and elegance. However, it is very difficult to imagine Taylor not winning considering this was the year of Taylor Swift.

Her most recent album ‘1989’ was a big transition for her from country to pop and it became an overnight sensation spending over a year in the Billboard top 10. So there is no doubt that there will be some victory in Taylor’s corner on Monday night.

4. Keep an eye out for Calvin Harris. Don't be surprised if you see Taylor's beau of almost a year sitting near or next to her. The couple was sat together at the Billboard Music Awards 2015 and he was more than supportive giving her a hug every time she was called up to accept an award. Ever since then the couple has been seen walking the streets of New York together and celebrating the 4th of July at Swift's Rhode Island home along with her "squad"

Look how happy she looks.

If you are curious to see what Taylor will bring out tune into CBS on Monday, February 15, at 8ET/7CT/5PT. It is sure to be one awesome show.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

There are moments where we count down the hours until work is over and how many more days till the weekend, and this many weeks until something exciting. Or something like that? Well, I was bumming because my next day off from work is not until Memorial Day weekend, which is not until the end of May. And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…

If you go to or went to Kent State, then more than likely you have done or will do some of these things.
