A 'Swiftie's' Countdown To 'Reputation,' As Told By Taylor Swift

I don’t know about you … but I’m feeling emotionally unstable until the album comes out.

Now that Halloween is over and November has begun, we can finally begin celebrating the holiday that everyone is waiting for: Nov. 10.

The date is also known as when Taylor Swift will drop her latest album after a three-year hiatus. The hiatus between albums was the longest that Swift has ever taken, usually releasing one every two years to the day.

After waiting for so long for the mysterious “TS6” now known as “Reputation”, fans everywhere are beyond excited for the release of this album.

Here are the eight stages that every Swiftie has experienced since that amazing day in August when Swift wiped all of her social media accounts clean.

1. Confusion

When Swift deleted everything on her social media on Aug. 18, fans and the media alike were baffled. Everyone read into tiny videos of a snake slithering across the scene that she then posted every day for an agonizingly long week.

2. Pure Joy

On Aug. 23, Swift finally announced that she would be releasing a new album on Nov. 10 and that the lead single would be dropping the next night. Excitement ensued.

3. Anxiety

When "Look What You Made Me Do" dropped, fans were concerned when Swift promptly stated that the "Old Taylor" was dead in the bridge of the song. As a fan of Swift's since 2008, I was definitely worried that the "New Taylor" was not going to be someone with whom I could get on board. Many fans seemed to feel the same way.

4. Acceptance

Personally, I think that the genius of "Look What You Made Me Do" lies in the music video. When Swift released the video at the VMAs on Aug. 27, everything about her new song seemed to click into place and many people's faith (including my own) in the new album was restored.

5. Surprise

After the release of "Look What You Made Me Do", most fans were not expecting any new singles until the release date of the album grew closer. Swift shocked everyone, though, with the release of "...Ready For It?" on Sept. 3 after teasing it in a Saturday Night Football advertisement. Fans everywhere were surprise and excited by having two new Swift songs to obsess about.

6. Wondering

The next month or so after "...Ready For It?" were fairly quiet from Swift. Besides interacting with fans on Tumblr and Instagram, she stayed away from the spotlight until word broke that she held a Secret Session in London for 100 lucky fans on Oct. 13. Secret Sessions are special, invitation-only parties that Swift and her management hold at her different homes all over the world where she plays them the entire album before it is released. She did a lot of Secret Sessions for "1989" in 2014, so many fans were excited when she brought them back for "Reputation." While fans who attended the event were sworn secrecy about specific details on the new album, the general reviews were insanely positive, calling it Swift's best work and leaving all of the other Swifties wondering what was coming.

7. Happiness

On Oct. 19, Swift released yet another cryptic sneak peek to a new song. The teaser features an adorable baby voice saying, "Gorgeous" and then a series of sounds that resembled something from an early 2000s computer. The new song, aptly named "Gorgeous", was released at midnight on Oct. 20 to the joy and excitement of her fans. The song is by far one of the cutest songs that she's ever released and can make anyone listening to it feel instantly happy.

8. Waiting

Since the release of "Gorgeous", everyone has waited patiently for the release of the whole album.

Ever since November started, everyone has excitedly waited for the next era of Swift's music to officially begin.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
