Here's Why Taurus Season is the BEST Season

I know that many of you may not believe in astrology, but it's the season of my sun sign: the Taurus. For a long time, I too did not believe in zodiac signs because I didn't understand them. Even so, everything I have ever read about the Taurus matched up to my personality almost to a T. As it turns out, there are a few other factors in astrology as to your personality. You can actually have three signs. Today, though, I want to focus on why I love my sun sign.

Taurus season is the season for growth: spiritually and emotionally. This time period, late April to mid-May, is one of grounding in so many ways. I always feel refreshed and excited, as if my spirit renews. It's also the time for great food and better times. Taurus' are known for relaxing and lounging around and that's exactly how I feel especially this time of year. It's the perfect time to take a solo beach day and connect to nature. It marks the beginning of summer, usually stress-free time for most.

My Taurus season started off with crazy revelations, the beginning of a new romance, and a lot of emotional growth. And spending too much money on food, but that's nothing new. To be honest, I never would have seen any of these things that I am realizing and experiencing coming, but this season always brings in new blessings and change that I am forever grateful for. I am entering a new chapter in my life where I am beginning to focus on myself and how I feel versus everyone else's perceptions of me. I am moving constantly and yet a steady pace that I quite enjoy. I intend to splurge in the comfort and happiness of the sun as well as while as the life I am living each and every day.

This season, I ask everyone to take a second each day, breathe in, breathe out, and smile. Life will never be stress-free, but if you can use each day to grow yourself and have fun rather than worry about what you can't control, life will be something you enjoy so much more. Appreciate the small things and the small details, eat good food, and laugh away worry this season. We have so much to look forward to in life.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
