Tattoos I'd Get If We Weren't Quarantined

In This Article:

I always loved the tattoos on other people and their ability to visually express personality. Since turning 18 though, I never really had the drive to get something done on myself... that is, until now. Because quarantine's told me I can't, I've never wanted one more in my life. The first thing I'm gonna do when the quarantine is lifted, is cover my whole entire body in tattoos. If I don't look like Post Malone, I don't want it.

1. Flowers in a vase

The black vase and flowers contrasts nicely with the motifs of bold color.

2. Portrait of a lady

I love the thin line work and the use of geometric patterns.

3. Realistic butterfly

Bugs are cool and intricate. I'd love to have one crawling on my body forever... as long as it's just a tattoo.

4. Quirky figure

It'd be cool to have a unique pal chilling on my hair. Any object with a face will do.

5. Sternum angel

I want my heart to be blessed.

6. Geometric stick-n-poke

Something small.

7. A short, meaningless quote

Of course, I'd put it somewhere hidden. $1 reward if you can find it.

8. Musical instrument

Music soothes the soul.

9. A snake

An underrated animal makes for a popular and beautiful tattoo.

10. Tribute to a artist

Reserved for legends only.

11. A happy face

For a joyful reminder.

12. A chicken

Because why not? Chickens are good luck, right?

I probably won't end up getting all these tattoos, but it's still fun to think about. After quarantine is over though, I will hit up my local tattoo shop to support them during these difficult times. Until then, I'll resist the urge to give myself a tattoo because that is guarantied to end poorly.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.
