Target's Swim Campaign Features Women of All Sizes

Embracing one's external beauty has been a recent trend and a powerful breakthrough in the American culture. Brands are tackling "women's empowerment" and "real beauty" to strengthen brand loyalty and to build the confidence of women across the nation. This past week Target introduced its newest campaign, Target Loves Every Body, featuring women of all sizes sporting their most flattering swim suit.

We all know that swim suit season is the worst time of the year and it is rare to find exactly what you want and to feel confident in it. Target has addressed these insecurities and has ensured women that there is a dashing look for everyone. Size is no longer an excuse to avoid swim season!

"The brand has enlisted bloggers like Nashelly Messina of Fabulatina, Nikki Minton of My Style Diaries, Simply Stylist's Sarah Boyd, and Chantè Burkett of Everything Curvy and Chic to show off the line of bikinis and one-pieces," says Liza Darwin of Refinery 29. With a strong following and a passion for fashion, each influencer showcases a swim suit that gives her the most flattering figure and accentuates her best assets. From high-waist bottoms for plus size figures to halter bikini tops for the best bust support, all women can leave Target feeling confident about their bodies and no longer dreading the hunt during swim suit season.

One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
