I constantly come across friends that have shared articles or pictures about the Brock Turner case. Everyone is outraged by his light sentencing and early release. He raped a fully unconscious woman and served three months. We should definitely be upset and outraged by this. We also need to ask ourselves, “how did this happen?” Well, Brock Turner got a slap-on-the-wrist sentence because he has white male privilege.
White male privilege has become the buzzphrase on every hipster tweeter and feminist’s lips. What I haven’t heard from any of these people is their outrage over Bill Clinton’s rape accusers.
Bill Clinton’s rape accusers were asked if they’ve gotten the same media attention as Trump’s. Their answers were very telling.
Broaddrick responded while the others shook their heads in agreement:
“Oh, definitely not.”
Jones added:
“No, no, nobody's asked [to hear their stories].”
The media continues to ignore Bill Clinton's rape accusers. The media is also remaining silent about his 26 trips riding the “Lolita Express” to “Orgy Island” with under aged girls and registered sex offender, Jeffery Epstein.
But, wait? Hispter tweeters and feminists are saying “Bill Clinton isn’t the one running for President.”
So, we just pretend his victims don’t exist, and that their accusations don’t matter?
Who exemplifies the true definition of white male privilege more in this case than the former President of the United States?
I am a woman who recognizes that white male privilege exists and I am frustrated beyond belief that people continue to pick and choose which white male privilege outrages them.
You are ignorant if you choose to ignore Bill Clinton’s rape accusations.
The sources are there, the rape victims are there and we need to be outraged about this.
Hillary Clinton has gone out of her way to shame Bill’s accusers. Yet, Hillary Clinton will also be the first one to tell you about the unfair advantages of white male privilege in America. The hypocrisy in America is reaching it’s boiling point. We need to consider what the media is telling, but also what they aren’t telling us.
